Chiropractor Donald Milione D.C.
Dr. Donald Milione is a licensed Chiropractor serving the New York community.
Dr. Milione graduated from New York Chiropractic College with honors. During the past 30 years of practice, he has had the privilege of sharing his knowledge of occupational health with the employees of national and multinational business organizations.
Dr. Milione's primary procedure is the "Diversified" technique and he also uses "Gonstead", "Logan Basic" procedures and various other low amplitude, low velocity chiropractic manipulative therapies. Manual and Electro-Assisted "Trigger Point" Therapies provide real-time positive therapeutic results. Hydrocollation Therapy or the application of hot packs to the spine is a favorite of many of his patients. His cutting edge technology are his hands. His experienced, sensitive, reactive hands are simply, in his opinion, the best. Adjunctive therapies that run a close second are his manual and/or combination high volt galvanic/ultrasound therapies.
His post-graduate specialty is in occupational health and is also a certified occupational health consultant. He is DOT Physical Exams Certified and is certified by the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners.
Dr. Milione attends chiropractic continuing education seminars which is required by NY State Law, but also prefers to attend the medical continuing education seminars which are often sponsored by surgical supply and/or pharmaceutical companies. At these seminars I interact with the researchers who are in attendance in order to present their professional articles to their peers for their review.
The information that he receives from these medical seminars permits him to share the latest but not necessarily the greatest results of medical research regarding the spine with his patients.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Milione is a member of the New York Committee on Occupational Safety and Health (NYCOSH) he attends the meetings of this union driven organization in order to be better informed of local and federal job safety issues and then conveys this information to his patients and to the members of their union local in order to offer proactive on-the-job safety and health strategies.
Dr. Milione is also a musician who has had the privilege to record and perform nationally and internationally and also enjoys gardening, woodworking and spending time with his family
A "thank you" from a patient is a very nice thing and he is fortunate to have had many "thank you's"!
